Liverpool supporters have been astonished by one of Arne Slot’s players during their pre-season match against AC Milan.
The Reds commenced their pre-season tour facing their former European adversaries, with Florian Wirtz making his debut in the iconic jersey before the fans in what ultimately resulted in a 4-2 loss.
Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz were excluded from the lineup amid rumors regarding their futures, while Joe Gomez was sent home after sustaining an Achilles injury during training.
However, it is another emerging talent that captured the fans’ attention more than anyone else.

Among all the attacking prowess showcased against Milan, it was the 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha who captured the spotlight.
This teenage prodigy, who has only recently completed his GCSEs and has received accolades from figures such as John Terry, positioned himself on the left flank of the attack alongside Mohamed Salah and Wirtz.
Despite the elite talent surrounding him, he emerged as the most impressive player during his 45-minute appearance.
The young player was determined to penetrate the Milan defense whenever he had the ball, demonstrating remarkable speed and successfully completing 75% of his dribbling attempts.
He also contributed with an assist; on the rare occasion that Tomori managed to halt his progress, Ngumoha displayed exceptional poise by laying the ball back for his teammate Dominik Szoboszlai, whose shot found the top corner of the net.
