Real Madrid has unveiled their brand new home kit, which will be donned during Xabi Alonso’s inaugural season as head coach.
The 2025–26 season is set to bring significant changes for Real Madrid, who have welcomed Alonso to the managerial position along with a plethora of new signings, including Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.
In their quest to reclaim the La Liga title from Barcelona, Real Madrid will wear a kit reminiscent of the one used in the 2009–10 season—Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut year at the club.
Created as a homage to the iconic Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the shirt incorporates textures and lines from both the original and the current architecture, highlighted by yellow lines akin to those found on the club crest.
The kit, completed with white shorts and white socks, is anticipated to make its debut at this summer’s Club World Cup, where Real Madrid’s campaign will commence against Saudi Arabian powerhouses Al Hilal on June 18.
Real Madrid is set to unveil their away and third kits in the upcoming weeks, although both have already surfaced on social media.
The away jersey is expected to replace last season’s orange color scheme with a return to blue, featuring significant references to the Bernabéu.
Regarding the third kit, reports indicate it will showcase a different shade of blue with white accents.
Alonso has been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the new kit is etched in history during this summer’s Club World Cup, as Real Madrid is believed to be eager to achieve the honor of being the tournament’s inaugural champions.
