Liverpool has extended a contract offer to a remarkable 90-goal wonderkid, who happens to be the offspring of a cult hero from the Premier League.

Figueroa is set to join the USMNT’s U20 team later this month to compete in Egypt against Norway and Colombia.
Should he accept Liverpool’s contract proposal, he may have the opportunity to play for the Reds next season, following in his father’s footsteps in the Premier League.
The promising forward aspires to emulate his idols Didier Drogba, Sergio Aguero, Luis Suarez, and Fernando Torres when he makes his senior debut.
“When I was younger, I was just about old enough to watch [Didier] Drogba, [Sergio] Aguero,” he stated on the club’s official website. “I also watched Luis Suarez.
I think [Fernando] Torres during his time at Atletico Madrid was someone I aimed to emulate.
“He also mentioned former Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge, adding: “Daniel Sturridge as well when he was at Liverpool.
Those are the types of players I admired.”I would describe myself as powerful, and I believe I am proficient [with my] back to goal. I consider myself a complete finisher – I can score with my left foot, right foot, or head.
“Regarding his father, Maynor participated in over 200 matches in the Premier League and scored one of the league’s most remarkable goals when he struck a free-kick from his own half against Stoke City.
