
Bayer Leverkusen has allegedly informed Liverpool of the specific player they wish to include in a swap deal for their star player, Florian Wirtz.
Following the confirmation of the transfer of Dutch defender Jeremie Frimpong, Liverpool’s activities in what is anticipated to be a highly active transfer window have already commenced.
After securing the Premier League title in Arne Slot’s inaugural season as manager, the Reds are thought to be pursuing multiple high-profile players, including Wirtz, who is a former teammate of Frimpong at Bayer Leverkusen.
Several reports have claimed that the Bundesliga side are looking to receive t €150million (£126m) for the German international, but recently it has been claimed that they would consider offering him as part of a swap deal.
And now, Leverkusen have reportedly made it clear to Liverpool which two players they would consider taking in a spectacular swap deal for Wirtz.

Throughout the early days of the transfer window several Liverpool players have been linked with moves away from the club in order to make way for new signings.
One of these players, is young forward Harvey Elliott, and according to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, he is one of the players that Leverkusen are considering signing to replace Wirtz.
