Carlo Ancelotti will leave the Bernabeu to take over as manager of the Brazilian national team, with ex-player Alonso expected to replace the Italian.
In terms of players coming in, Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen and Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold are suggested to be closing in on a move to the Spanish capital.
