Mohamed Salah failed to score or assist as he aims to break Thierry Henry’s long-standing Premier League record.
Arsenal legend Henry is the only player to score 20+ goals and 20+ assists in a single Premier League campaign, having scored 24 goals and registered 20 assists in the 2002/03 season.
Henry’s 20 assists is also a Premier League record, with Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne equalling the number in
Salah has scored 28 league goals and has 18 assists to his name this season.He reached the 18 mark a few months back but has yet to break Henry’s record when he looked destined to.
The 32-year-old’s form has dipped by his high standards as fans claim he has ‘fumbled’ the Premier League assist record.
