Liverpool is finalizing a ‘take it or leave it’ offer for a Premier League star as Arne Slot persists with his summer spending spree.

Liverpool is set to present a conclusive bid for the esteemed England player as they strive to enhance their squad that has already secured the Premier League title.

Following a dominant performance in the 24/25 Premier League during his inaugural season as manager, Arne Slot has promptly sought to bolster his team with additional talent.

Liverpool has made a significant impact with the unprecedented signing of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, alongside the early summer acquisitions of Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.

With numerous arrivals at Anfield, the exit door is expected to be equally active, as Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to leave the club on a contentious free transfer to Real Madrid.

Additionally, players such as Luis Diaz and Ibrahim Konate are also rumored to be considering moves away, with Real Madrid allegedly planning another free transfer acquisition for the French defender, whose contract is set to expire next summer.

Given Konate’s uncertain future, Slot has been eager to bolster the center of his defense, and Marc Guehi has emerged as the top priority on the Dutchman’s shopping list.

Guehi played a crucial role in the England team that reached the final of Euro 2024 in Germany last summer.

With Liverpool growing tired of Palace’s stance the Sun reports that the club will make a final ‘take it or leave it offer’ for the 25-year-old in the coming days.

That report claims that a final offer of £40 million will be made, although Newcastle United may attempt to start a bidding war following their interest in Guehi last summer.

Like Konate, Guehi’s Palace deal will expire after the 25/26 season which should encourage the FA Cup winners to strike a deal this summer.

Guehi himself reportedly has his ‘heart set on’ a move to Anfield and ‘has always held a big interest in going to Liverpool.
