Bobby Duncan, Steven Gerrard’s Cousin Forced Liverpool Exit

Being related to Gerrard, who is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest midfielders in Premier League history, inevitably placed significant pressure on the young and impressionable Duncan as he began to gain recognition within the academy system.

Now at the age of 23, Duncan started his football journey at Mossley Hill and St Helens before catching the attention of Wigan Athletic in 2010.

However, after just one year with the Latics, he transferred to Manchester City.

In 2018, he made a notable move to Liverpool.

In 2018, Duncan signed a three-year professional contract and played a crucial role in the club’s FA Youth Cup-winning team during the 2018/19 season, highlighted by his late equalizer in the 5-3 final victory against his former team, Manchester City.
