Alisson Has Received a Solid Proposal to Depart from Liverpool

Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson, has reportedly caught the attention of Turkish side Galatasaray in a potential blockbuster summer transfer.

With Fernando Muslera set to leave, Galatasaray is on the lookout for a replacement and has been linked with several goalkeepers from across Europe, including Chelsea’s Đorđe Petrović and Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen.

Alisson is also on their radar, amidst ongoing speculation about his future at Anfield.

While there have been whispers of a move to Saudi Arabia, Florian Plettenberg has confirmed that Galatasaray has made a strong bid for the Brazilian.

Despite this interest, Alisson has swiftly turned down the opportunity to leave Liverpool, expressing his intention to stay with the club at least until the end of the 2025–26 season.

He has acknowledged that he’s nearing the final year of his contract but expects Liverpool to activate a 12-month extension clause, potentially keeping him until 2027.

In anticipation of Alisson’s eventual departure, Galatasaray has been proactive.

They secured Giorgi Mamardashvili last summer, who has rejoined the squad following a loan at Valencia.

The £29 million ($39.2 million) signing has pledged to compete rigorously with Alisson for a starting position, but the experienced goalkeeper has no intention of stepping aside just yet.

Additionally, 20-year-old Ármin Pécsi has been brought in this summer, though his immediate future remains undecided.

It’s still to be determined whether he will go out on loan or remain as a third-choice option for Arne Slot’s senior squad.
