In anticipation of Kerkez’s exit, Bournemouth is looking to bring in Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert as his replacement.
The 21-year-old is now likely to leave the Cherries after spending two seasons in Dorset.
Kerkez is poised to make his way to Anfield as a potential long-term successor to Andy Robertson, whose contract has just over a year remaining and who celebrated his 31st birthday in March.
