Liverpool has been placed on high alert regarding Alexander Isak following the emergence of a surprising transfer report from Newcastle United.

The Reds have broken their club’s transfer record to acquire Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, while Jeremie Frimpong has also joined the team at Anfield. Additionally, Milos Kerkez has been secured by the Premier League champions.
The Magpies have recently acquired Spanish talent Antonio Cordero and are nearing the completion of a deal for Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga, valued at £55 million.
Despite Eddie Howe’s squad securing a place in the Champions League, Isak has become the focus of considerable transfer speculation.
Liverpool is reportedly considering a move for Isak and has received approval to finalize a significant transfer. Isak is not the only prominent forward capturing attention in the transfer market, as Hugo Ekitike’s name remains associated with various clubs, including Newcastle.
As reported by French media outlet RMC Sports, the 23-year-old is garnering interest from three clubs capable of fulfilling their ambitions.
Newcastle is part of the group pursuing Ekitike, which also includes Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadsiah and Al Hilal, both of whom have reached out to the player’s representatives.
However, according to the report, Ekitike prefers to remain in Europe for the time being.
He is estimated to be valued at an astonishing €100 million (£86 million), a figure that would surpass Newcastle’s record for club transfers.
