Mohamed Salah Wins Major Premier League Award, Second Time in Career

Mohamed Salah has been awarded the Premier League’s Player of the Season for the 2024–25 campaign.

Although there was an eight-man shortlist for this accolade, it was evident that there could only be one victor.

Salah, who also won this title in the 2017–18 season, has accumulated 28 goals and 18 assists thus far, leading the Premier League in both categories.

Records have consistently fallen for the Egyptian maestro, who has been instrumental in achieving the highest number of goals by any player in a 38-game season in Premier League history and is competing to surpass the record for the most assists in a single season.

He outperformed fellow Liverpool players Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch in the voting, thereby concluding a streak of five consecutive winners from Manchester City.
