Jurgen Klopp Issues Heartfelt Message to Liverpool After Premier League Title Win

Jurgen Klopp has finally spoken out following the official announcement of Liverpool as Premier League champions.

The Reds decisively defeated Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday, clinching their 20th title in English top-flight football.

Arne Slot’s team fell behind due to a header from Dominic Solanke, but Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, and Cody Gakpo turned the match around before halftime, creating a celebratory atmosphere in Merseyside with just one point required to secure the championship.

Mohamed Salah added his usual goal, and Destiny Udogie inadvertently scored an own goal, leading the hosts to a resounding victory.

It’s the first time the Anfield faithful have been able to celebrate a Premier League title inside the ground as Klopp and his dominant 2019/20 champions were forced to have a behind-closed-doors gathering due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After leaving the club last summer, the German has now had his say on the success of his old team.

Jurgen Klopp Congratulates Liverpool’Extremely positive for the future’

While Klopp wasn’t present inside the ground for the title celebrations, the 57-year-old has now taken to social media to congratulate his former employers.

In an Instagram post, with pictures of the players and coaching staff celebrating on the pitch, Klopp wrote:

“Super grateful for the past. Super, super happy about the present. Extremely positive for the future!”Congratulations – YNWA. Thank you Luv.”
